What is a default radius?
You will notice that all pins in GapMaps already have a radius catchment attached that you did not create. This radius catchment is your default radius and is there for ease of use.
What can I do with a default radius?
Default radii allow you to quickly:
a) Run a high-level catchment report on any site without needing to create a catchment from scratch
b) Visualise the default radii over a group of locations in one click
Can I change the size of the default radii?
Yes, if you have administrator access you can adjust the size in account settings. Otherwise, get in touch with us by starting a chat or email clientservices@gapmaps.com and the GapMaps team will help you.
How do I visualise the default radii over a group of locations?
- Ensure you have the desired category ticked and select 'tools'
- Click 'Default Radii'
- If you wish to adjust the size of the default radii being visualised, select your desired size from the dropdown at the top of the page.
