⚠️NOTE: By using this integration, you will be consuming NearMap credits. Zooming and panning will also consume credits. Ensure you are switching the Base Map when NearMap is not required.
Getting Started
NearMap is an Aerial Imagery platform that integrates with GapMaps Live. In order to use this integration, you will need a NearMap account and access to your NearMap API key.
Follow this guide to obtain your API key from NearMap.
** Your API Key will look something like the below:

Accessing NearMap
- Click the base map button in the bottom left of the map.
- Select ‘NearMap’
- Enter your API key into the field.
- Select ‘NearMap’ from the base map menu again
Turning NearMap Off
- Click the base map button.
- Select a different base map.
- The next time you log in to GapMaps Live you will be asked to enter your API Key again.
